As personal news, I have updated my profile on this blog significantly, so if you are interested, please check it.
Well, I would like to introduce the news that I was personally interested this week.
Google Automatically Enroll Users into 2-Step Verification
Google has announced that it will automatically enroll its users into 2-step verification to sign in to their accounts on World Password Day on May 6.
Up to now, 2-step verification has been optional, but based on recent security circumstances, it is said that 2-step authentication will be automatically enabled for users who have not currently set up it.
After 2-step verification is introduced, subsequent to enter your username and password to log into your account, you will receive a code by text, call, or Google app on your smartphone, and the second step of login will be completed.
It is good to have solid security to prevent information leakage, such as account hacking.
Nonuplets Were Born for the First Time in History
A woman from the Republic of Mali in West Africa has given birth to nine children, five girls and four boys.
The birth weight of the nine children was 500g to 1kg, and both mother and children are in stable condition.
It is a very happy news, and I want everyone to grow up healthy, but I am also wonder how much would be the future child support.
Twitter’s New Tool “Tip Jar”
On May 7, Twitter introduced the Tip Jar, a feature that lets you tip through Twitter.
Tip Jar allows users to send money to creators, journalists, and nonprofits through PayPal and other services.
However, if you make a payment through PayPal, it is found that your address is also sent to the recipient, so there is still room for improvement.
Promoting Free COVID-19 Vaccines
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced at a press conference on May 6 that he would promote tourism by providing COVID-19 vaccines to tourists from outside the city.
I would be happy if it would be a chance for New York to attract tourists and to come to life again since it was severely damaged by COVID-19.
Food Report: Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse
This week, the Food Report will feature “Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse” near MOMA in Midtown.
I went to this restaurant for all-you-can-eat meat menu, but unfortunately when I went there, it had too many customers, so I could not order the all-you-can-eat menu.
I thought I would turn back because the main hall was full and I couldn’t enter, but I was so hungry, so I decided to eat at the bar counter.
I ordered Picanha Burger and the bartender’s signature cocktail, Passionate Caicirinha!
Picanha Burger brought a pleasant surprise with cheese bread as an appetizer! !
I was disappointed because I couldn’t eat all-you-can-eat meat, but all the menus that came out were delicious and I was very satisfied.
The French fries were also delicious and went very well with the dipping “Mallageta” sauce.
